Winemaking legend Ben Glover and his wife Susie have now transitioned all of their family vineyards in the sought-after Dillon’s Point region of Marlborough’s Wairau Valley to organic farming.

By being 'bio-bro' certified organic they are allowing their Zephyr wines to express the true flavours of their family farm, while pursuing soil health, biodiversity, and regenerative farming. We should not underestimate the benefits of these practices for the environment, rural communities, and us as drinkers. We should all care!

The name Zephyr, meaning ‘a gentle breeze’, is inspired by the prevailing wind that moderates their coastal family vineyards, and the wider Marlborough region. Planted in 1985 alongside Marlborough’s Opaoa River, their Sauvignon Blanc vines thrive in fertile loam soils that provide this wine with a lively, mineral single vineyard expression.
